The Vision
The vision with Fuglekvarteret is to develop a residential neighborhood with such a distinct “own” identity that a sense of community arises around being a resident in the neighborhood. A neighborhood filled with life that potentially shares its benefits with the surrounding areas.
A residential neighborhood where you live in the city, in Hvidovre, but where nature is right outside the door: Vestvolden, flowing like a green river all the way up to Utterslev Mose and all the way to the sea at Kalveboderne.
NPV A/S, the developer of Fuglekvarteret in Hvidovre, is strongly focused on sustainability. Therefore, Fuglekvarteret will be
DGNB Gold certified.
Part of the project was sold to an investor in 2025.
Diversity in
all aspects
A residential neighborhood with diversity in all aspects. With diversity among residents and diversity in types and sizes of housing. There should be room for people in different stages of life; for the elderly living alone, the large family with children, the young student, or the single parent with children.
Fuglekvarteret is a residential neighborhood where people can share things with each other. The community house, with space for community activities and major events, the car-sharing system so everyone can travel a bit farther, and the community garden where we grow what we eat.
